Interview:

N. A. Foy: How old were you when you decided to pursue a career in music, and were there any particular musicians or singers that inspired you?

Tanya: I was already singing at a very tender age & started as early as 11 years old as a church soloist then the choir's musical director. My influences are mainly male Rock vocalists with the exception of the one and only Ann Wilson, Janis Joplin, Alannah Myles, Cher, Robin Beck, etc. Male vocalists are my main man David Coverdale, Steve Perry, Steven Tyler, Dio, Joe Lynn Turner, Steve Overland, Steve Lee etc…

N. A. Foy: What are you currently working on as a band?

Tanya: On our 2nd album with our label ESCAPE Music.

N. A. Foy: Can you tell us a little bit about your second album?

Tanya: The guitar player Mario Agostine & myself are working on the new songs/tunes of our next album, and our new bass player Carlos Bouchabki might help out in arrangement but we're taking it slow for the 2nd album, as a lot of changes have taken place in the band, and we really want to bring the best out of it all!!

N. A. Foy: If you had only a few minutes in an elevator to describe your band, what would you say?

Tanya: The love for Rock, Classic Rock, Passion & sheer will drive our band to always strive for more and be our best

N. A. Foy: What are some things you like to do for enjoyment when you are not doing music?

Tanya: I like the outdoors a lot! Extreme sports, the beach, the mountains, & mostly doing all of the above while spending time with family & close friends

N. A. Foy: If you were stuck on an island and somehow were able to listen to music, what 3 CDs would you want with you?

Tanya: Heart, Whitesnake, Gotthard Doesn't matter which, it's all about the vocalists: Ann Wilson, David Coverdale, Steve Lee 1st 2 choices are easy, 3rd was hard. Alongside Steve Lee, 2 other Steves; Steve Perry and Steven Tyler. So Journey & Aerosmith in 3rd position as well

N. A. Foy: Out of the lyrics you perform so far, is there a particular one that you like best? Is there a story behind it?

Tanya: There's always a story behind every song, but I always keep it simple around a life lesson. The song that was very special to me & expressed a certain status, would be Save a little Love. I don't give out detailed lyrical situations, I try to express emotions & positive views of everyday life experiences that could apply to just anyone or everyone.  Nah Nah Nah is the sensual exception ;)

N. A. Foy: Us fans always like to know things about the band members. How about some favorites. What is your favorite color? Number? Foods? Movie(s)? Book(s)? Or any other favorites you want to mention?

Tanya: Colour: Black & White No: 15 Foods: all kinds of grilled meats, vegetables & Fries

Movies: “Dracula” by Francis Ford Coppola, “Mr. Black,” “Devil's advocate” etc., & most epic movies “The Sound of Music Jesus Christ Superstar” etc., & most musical classics. It's very hard to narrow down movie choices as I have majored in Radio TV & Film Production & have been a producer myself...so movies define my alter ego side by side with Music

2 favourite books come in mind, that are acclaimed international books that scream the greatest lesson (s) in Life are : " The Prophet " by Gibran Khalil Gibran & " The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.

N. A. Foy: What is the message that you want to give your fans as an example as a person? Is there anything else you’d like to add before we finish?

Tanya: My closing message in any interview, to my fans, family & friends has always been the same:

Dream On, Walk On, keep fighting against any kind of hardship that life throws at you, keep striving for the best & always better yourselves & mostly care for yourselves & others! Never back down & always believe in yourselves & you shall succeed! Most importantly give back & be kind every chance you get, it's the most beautiful & rewarding gift both to you & to the receiver!

Last but never least, A huge thank you to you my dear Minerva for that lovely, sweet & unusually original interview [😊]

A huge shoutout to all your rockin' readers, thank you for reading & for listening to EPIC's Music ! Keep Rockin' & keep the flame of Rock n Roll always alive in you, every step of the way! Cheers !! \ [💖] /
