N. A. Foy: Tell us a little about yourself. What have you released for music so far? What are you currently working on?

Karly Snarly:  Well...I've had songs played on various Internet radio stations, and it's gone down pretty well. I'm working in a darker sounding direction now and will be releasing new songs this year. I have some pretty good musicians lined up to play on the songs.

N. A. Foy: Do you plan on coming out with a full-length album or an EP?

Karly Snarly: I prefer putting a song out at a time. It hopefully keeps people's interest, and there's only so much of me someone can take at one time!

N. A. Foy: How old were you when you decided to pursue a career in music and were there any particular musicians or singers that inspired you?

Karly Snarly: Lol, I've been playing music for a looooong time. Some would disagree with the music bit though. I loved Skin's voice from Skunk Anansie: very expressive and full of emotion. Karen Carpenter too… totally rocking.

Then I sounded more like Brian Johnson than Pat Benetar unfortunately...life sucks 😉.

N. A. Foy: Since you release a song at a time, do you use your own recording equipment?

Karly Snarly: Noooooo...recording is an art in itself. I do rough demos and give them to the musicians I want involved in the recording, and then we go to a studio to put down the tracks.

N. A. Foy: If you were stuck on an island but somehow could listen to music, what 3 CDs would you want with you?

Karly Snarly: Lol ok, Don Henley “Building the Perfect Beast,” as it has my favourite song on it....”Boys of Summer.” Journey...”Escape,” as it's great songwriting, singing, playing all at once, and Black Sabbath “Heaven and Hell,” as I just love the whole feel of it, and it reminds me of my childhood, dreaming of bikes and being a rock goddess lol \¡¡/

N. A. Foy: Out of the lyrics you perform so far, is there a particular one that you like best? Is there a story behind it.

Karly Snarly: Ok, without wanting to sound pretentious, one of my lyrics goes 'bridges are burning, tables are turning, what are we learning' from a song called “Badlands.” It's like ok, this world is pretty crappy, totally fucked up, and really in the end the only real things we have are love for each other. Pretentious? You decide lol.

N. A. Foy: Doesn't sound pretentious at all to me. What do you like doing on your free time when you're not doing music?

Karly Snarly: Um you mean the things I can mention publicly. 😋

N. A. Foy: Yes, lol.

Karly Snarly: That's difficult then..... 🤔 um .... err..... 👿 oh yes ....interviews!!

N. A. Foy: Haha! Us fans always like to know things about the band members. How about some favorites. What is your favorite color? Number? Foods? Movie(s)? Book(s)? Or any other favorites you want to mention?

Karly Snarly: Do people really want to know those things??? I think they'd rather know the unmentionable lol. Anyways, purple, 7, cheesecake, romantic dramas (not rock and roll I know) and I don't read.

Did I mention cheesecake.

N. A. Foy: Welllllll! You can share the unmentionable if you want. We are all curious now lol.

Karly Snarly: Lol I'd get a bad reputation, and that wouldn't be good. 😇

N. A. Foy: I guess I won't make you tell me but now everyone reading this will be curious :P. Now for the final questions. What is the main message you want to give to your fans through your music and example as a band? Is there anything else you would like to tell everyone before we finish?

Karly Snarly: I'm not keen on the word fan. If people like what I'm about and my music that's fab and I'm really grateful that someone's bothered to listen. That makes me the fan of them. It's a two-way street......always kx.
